"Don't eat just before going to bed!" my mother used to tell me. "You might get a nightmare." How right she was. I never believed her until it happened to me.
It was on a night when I felt hungry just as I was about to go to bed. So I made myself a peanut-butter sandwich and a large cold glass of milk. After consuming them I went to bed.
Soon I drifted off into a troubled sleep. I dreamt that I was with a group of people looking for an old woman. I was not sure why we were looking for her but we all seemed afraid of her. Somehow we had to find her. So there I was, searching high and low for her in frightful places I had never been before. Sometimes I seemed to be flying while at other times I seemed unable to move. The whole atmosphere was one of fear, like a dreadful horror-movie in which I was a victim.
After some searching I entered a darkened room and saw a figure sleeping on a bed. As I got nearer the figure suddenly threw away the blanket, got up and stared at me. It was an ugly old woman with shiny golden teeth. She raised her claw-like fingers and walked towards me.
I wanted to run but was unable to. I tried to scream but found that I could not. In horror I struggled and struggled to get away from the frightful woman.
The next moment I gave a muffled yell and found myself panting on my bed. My goodness, what a horrible nightmare it was! For a minute or so I lay on my bed not daring to close my eyes for fear of falling asleep again and continuing the nightmare. Then I sat up on my bed until the horrible feeling passed. This was my second trip to Wakatobi, first July 2011 with 2 girl friends then back in Jan 2012 with another friend. Both times I toured around Bali before the stay at the resort, visiting temples and my good friend Amy who lives in Sanur.
The flight from Bali to the resort was 2.5 hours long and I saw beautiful sights on the way. On board, I was served a snack and drinks, it was very good. Once I touched down a van was waiting for me to take me to the dock to board a boat, about 5 min drive. The boat ride was 15 min long and then I was at my vacation destination, Wakatobi!
A man carried my luggage to my hut and I was amazed how beautiful it was, wood walls and flowing drapes around the bed. I did not have any problems with bugs of any type the 17 days I was there. I had a small refrigerator and electric tea pot, I made coffee every day, I got up pretty early. I was in a garden hut, but also had a partial view of the ocean. Air-conditioning was as cool as I would like, and a ceiling fan was also available.

There are 31 species of rattlesnakes. Each species has unique markings but rattlesnakes of the same species can differ widely in colour. Rattlesnakes have excellent eyesight and an equally acute sense of smell. These abilities help them in their hunting.
Rattlesnakes have long, hollow teeth to inject venom into their prey. Even large animals can be killed by the venom. The amount of venom a rattlesnake can inject in one bite is proportionate to its size. The most dangerous snake is the diamondback, because of its large size. Rattlesnakes like to eat mice, frogs, lizards and small birds. They swallow their prey whole. Their jaws can open wide enough for them to do this. They will commence hunting only after they have digested their food completely.
Rattlesnakes make a warning noise like a rattle with their tail before they bite. They are reptiles and, like other reptiles such as lizards and crocodiles, they are cool-blooded. This means that their body temperature changes with the surroundings temperature. Although rattlesnakes seem to be formidable because of their poisonous bite, there are still animals that prey on them. Roadrunners like to eat them. These birds jump about until the rattlesnakes are tired of trying to strike at them. Then they attack the snakes with their sharp beaks.

Shell Jewelry
This is a simple way to make a pendant necklace with shell. You can choose different shells depending on the model you need. Some shells on the beach have natural holes worn in the top. This can be easily beaded. For other seashells you have to poke through a needle or use a drill to create the hole in the shell. Also, you can drill the edges/ surface to get a desired shape.
You can crochet the shell to position it in proper place of the necklace. You can also string beads in between the shells. Choose a contrasting plain / nylon string or some thick wire to hold the pendant. Just slide the wire over the holes of the shell and you will get a simple, elegant shell necklace. Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants, and are known for their role in pollination and for producing honey and beeswax. There are nearly 20,000 known species of bees in nine recognized families though many are undescribed and the actual number is probably higher. They are found on every continent except Antarctica, in every habitat on the planet that contains insect-pollinated flowering plants.
Bees have a long proboscis (a complex "tongue") that enables them to obtain the nectar from flowers. They have antennae almost universally made up of 13 segments in males and 12 in females, as is typical for the super family. Bees all have two pairs of wings, the hind pair being the smaller of the two; in a very few species, one sex or caste has relatively short wings that make flight difficult or impossible, but none are wingless.
The smallest bee is Trigona minima, a stingless bee whose workers are about 2.1 mm (5/64") long. The largest bee in the world is Megachile pluto, a leafcutter bee whose females can attain a length of 39 mm (1.5").
